After school is a great time to make use of a good hunger. I have a 3-4 veggie juice ready on ice with a straw so that my grandson just guzzles it because he's parched and hungry after a long bus ride. This is also a time when I chill Almond Milk with some extra Whey Protein and Cocoa and/or Ovaltine in it for a 'treat'. I actually sneak lemon-flavored fish oil / Vit D oil / Olive Leaf Extract or any other type of herbal that he needs into the veggie drink. It blends in well and he doesn't know it's been added. This is one of the healthiest 6-yr-olds at school. I'm trusting that he will keep up the juicing routine all of his life as he will notice how much better he feels when on it!
