      <description>I wish my wife had read this when we first had kids... in fact, I wish she'd read it now :)  Though I shouldn't complain, she does (3) quite often.

Lots of really important ideas.  Kids can take over your life, its important to keep your relationship strong during the difficult years so that you're still close when they are older and you have more time for each other again.  I'd also put in another one to dress up once in a while - it's far more practical to wear the baggy jumper and swear pants all day but buys are more visual... every once in a while remind him how cute you really are.

You should also make a similar list of things for dads to do for mums -- I know women want love shown in different ways to how we want it!  I think mine just wants me to keep the kitchen floor clean, and keep quiet and not argue while she yells away her frustration  ;)

Many of these things take so few seconds out of your day, but make such an important effect over time.  If people spent those extra couple of minutes each day doing something to make their partner feel loved, despite the pressure from kids, work and life, then there would be fewer divorces down the line...</description>
